I am beginning my new career as a Yarn Manufacturer’s Representative, and I figured I would try this blogging thing to document my experiences.
After 9 years working for a big corporation in B2B sales, I was feeling burned out. One Monday in March, I woke up and thought to myself, “Uh oh. I don’t know how much longer I can do this.” It was unsettling. It wasn’t just that I didn’t feel like going to work that day…that had happened plenty of times and I could always work through it. What’s the cliche? Fake it till you make it? Well, I like rhymes, but I was and am at a place in my life where I don’t want to be fake. I want to be real, and get closer and closer to the Real Me. So, thanks to the support and inspiration of very special people I am fortunate enough to have in my life, here I go on a new adventure or phase of life. This picture was taken by Michael Williams about a year ago. I think it shows positive expectation.

I need to schedule time in my week to post to the blog, especially to get stuff up for my vendors and neat shops I visit!
